AVANCE offers a variety of service options designed to protect your investment. These services provide improved system reliability while offering longer use of existing hardware and applications. We know that downtimes mean loss of productivity and our goal is to minimize downtime. Our Engineers are certified with extensive experience in troubleshooting portable data terminals.

AVANCE has extensive experience supporting multi-site customers that have hundreds of devices located at remote locations. We believe that our customers should not spend their valuable time managing the support of their mobile and printing devices. With AVANCE supporting our customers and managing the maintenance of the mobile devices, Our customers gain productivity because they can focus on their business.

  • Single Point of Contact
    No matter where you are, there is only one place to call. Our Help Desk will get you the appropriate support without you having to call anyone else. We know how frustrating it is to be passed on when you need help, AVANCE will be there for you. AVANCE will always provide first line telephone support, troubleshoot, make recommendations and manage the repair of unit that cannot be repaired via telephone.
     
  • Depot Repair Program
    The Depot Repair Day Program includes all parts and labor for remedial repairs in the service depot. Factory-trained technicians will complete repairs within three to five business days after receipt of your equipment. AVANCE Solutions will return equipment to your facility via your specified method of shipment.
     
  •  Next Business Day Depot Program - HOT SPARES
    The Hot Spares Program offers maximum protection for downtime. A customer-owned spares pool is maintained at an AVANCE facility. Pre-configured replacement units are shipped to your facility overnight.

    In the event one of your units requires service, you simply call the AVANCE Service and Support Hotline and place a request for Hot Spares Service. A unit from your spares pool will be sent directly to your user via next day delivery. Upon receipt of the spare, simply remove the unit from its shipping container and put the failed unit into the container for return to the AVANCE Depot Center . When the failed unit is received at the AVANCE Depot Center , it will be repaired and put back into the available spares pool inventory.
     
  • Testing and Configuration
    Once an item is returned from service, AVANCE will test the equipment to ensure the identified problem was repaired and to verify that the unit is fully functional. Additionally, our technicians can reconfigure the repaired unit to your required specifications for out-of-the-box operation.
     
  • Asset Management
    Our Customer Care department can maintain a database of your data collection equipment and track it as it is sent to individual user sites. In addition, tracking will occur for equipment that is sent to and returned from our service center and manufacturer's service centers. AVANCE will maintain a site profile for each of your locations being supported. This electronic profile combines your site location information with a complete inventory of your installed products. At the end of the support period, Extensive reports can be generated with statistical analysis of your support usage.
     
  • System Monitor
    Our Customer Care Center can monitor System performance remotely and proactively contact each location to troubleshoot possible problems before they cause un expected downtime
     
  • Wellness Program
    With the use of our SAP database we can monitor you devices and periodically exchange a device from your pool so that devices in the field can be returned for wellness maintenance.
     
  • Field Service
    AVANCE brings on-site service to our customers through AVANCE Engineers, alliances with manufacturers and third party service providers.
